“Through this journey I discovered a passion to dynamically engage not only myself but others to make the time for sustainable lifestyle changes.”

The Humble Health Coach

During my journey toward becoming an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I decided to do a little soul searching as to why I wanted to begin this voyage in the first place.

I lost my father to cancer when I was 18-years old. One of the most difficult parts of that experience was watching a strong, larger than life, gentle giant deteriorate to a state of weakness and irreversible health. It was during this time in my life I first realized how vulnerable the human body can be. As the years went on, life went on, and this realization of vulnerability grew stronger. Through the years I observed, listened, and learned as much as I possibly could about ways to keep the human body healthy. I learned how there was so much more to it all – the body had to be kept in balance on so many levels. I used to think if I ate a diet of plant-based, organic foods, grass-fed meats, wild-caught fish and exercised regularly, I would be destined to never have my body fail me. It turns out, we can eat clean for every meal and work out obsessively but still not feel our best or be our happiest selves if something else in our life is off-balance.

I don’t know about you, but I despise not feeling my absolute best. I despise not having energy, I despise discomfort of any sort, and I despise not feeling at the top of my game when I know how amazing the top of my game can be.

I soon came to realize I was deeply driven to learn as much as I could about balancing life and nutrition and how it affected my body. Through this journey I discovered a passion to dynamically engage not only myself but others to make the time for sustainable lifestyle changes. There is always more work to be done and I look forward to that challenge each day.

In my practice, I create a transformational safe space for clients to explore their health, while facilitating changes that can be sustained for the long-term. Consider joining me on a voyage toward feeling your absolute best physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I am excited to share what I have learned through my life and through my formal training (and what I continue to learn every day) to help you on your wellness journey to feel your absolute best!

With warm sincerity,

Your Humble Health Coach, Amy
